How are your sessions delivered?
We offer flexible learning options, including online sessions, in-home tutoring, and classes at local libraries or our branch locations. You can choose the format that best fits your schedule and learning style.
Can I book a trial session before committing to a full programme?
We offer a free consultation to all students who have signed up with us. This allows you to experience our personalised approach and see how we can help you achieve your academic goals before enrolling in a full programme.
How do I know which programme is right for my child?
We recommend starting with a consultation, where we assess your child’s current academic level, learning style, and specific needs. Based on this, we’ll recommend the most suitable programme and tutoring approach. Our recommendation will be provided to both parents and students via a report with a detailed break-down of the curriculum specification and exam skill that the pupil is currently attaining and a target expectation through their attainment and performance in their formal MathMind diagnostic assessment.
What qualifications do your tutors have?
All our tutors have obtained their qualified teacher status and have attained their masters in education through top universities in the UK, with extensive experience in their subject areas leading departments for many years. Many hold advanced degrees and have professional teaching credentials, ensuring they provide expert guidance tailored to each student’s needs. They have worked closely with the exam boards and have been through CPD training.
Do you offer support for exam preparation?
Absolutely! We provide focused Exam Preparation sessions tailored to specific exam boards and subjects. These sessions include practice papers, revision techniques, and tips for managing exam stress. Exam preparation workshops run throughout the year but are most popular between March – May!
How do you personalise the learning experience?
We create a customised curriculum map for each student based on their strengths, weaknesses, and learning style. This ensures that every lesson is relevant, engaging, and effective, helping students to achieve their full potential.
What resources will my child have access to?
Students receive access to a range of resources, including personalised learning folders, exam-specific recordings, study guides and a personalised planner. These materials are designed to reinforce learning and support independent study.
How do you keep parents informed of their child’s progress?
We provide regular updates through weekly check-ins, detailed progress reports, and parent consultation sessions. This keeps you informed and involved in your child’s educational journey.
What if my child needs extra help outside of regular sessions?
We offer additional support through weekly check-ins and Homework Support sessions. Students can also reach out to their tutor via WhatsApp, email, or text for quick assistance with any questions they have.
